Our goal in gathering together is that the Word of Christ might dwell in us richly (Colossians 3:16). Every aspect of our services is consciously built on God’s Word. We sing God’s Word, pray in light of God’s Word, read God’s Word publicly, listen to God’s Word preached, and respond to God’s Word. We seek to be relevant, not by following the latest trends, but by bringing the timeless Word of Almighty God to bear on our lives.
At First Baptist Mart, service is about 60 minutes in length. Service begins with a greeting from a pastor, staff, or church member, and after prayer the church will be lead into worship by song; we encourage you to engage with worship singing however you feel most comfortable. After this portion of service is complete, our pastor will lead us in worhsip by an encouraging, biblical, and truthful message.
We want you to be comfortable, whether that means jeans and a t-shirt, business casual, or a suit and tie.
Sunday’s and Wednesday’s here are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
Sunday school starts at 9:45am, and main service at 11am. Our Wednesday evening services start at 6pm.
