Connect With Us

From childcare to music, you are welcome here.

We long to connect with you at FBC Mart. We’ve created a variety of opportunities to be a part of our community.

We hope you will take an opportunity to explore where you can be involved in what God is doing in and through our church.

Ways to Stay Connected

Sunday School:  Sundays at 9:45 am. We have classes for children, youth, and adults.

Children:  Nursery is provided as needed. For preschool-6th grade, we have ministry activities on Sunday mornings that involve Bible study, crafts, and music.
Wednesday nights is KidVenture night! Kidventure is a ministry for preschool through sixth graders that begins with a light meal and involves Bible study, music, and crafts led by dedicated and experienced teachers. We are blessed with volunteers each year for all of our ministries with children.

Youth:  FBC Mart Youth welcomes 7th-12 graders to join together weekly. Sunday School and Wednesday night youth activities encourage the participants to grow in their social, emotional, and spiritual development. It is a time for fun, fellowship, food, and “getting into the Word.” As they grow in their faith, ways to share with others is encouraged. Led by a lay leader, age appropriate activities and Bible study are emphasized.

Adult:  Sunday School classes encourage fellowship along with emotional and spiritual growth. A variety of classes are available to choose from, with each class led by a dedicated spiritual individual. Opportunities are provided by gender and couples, but are not age specific - we are multi-generational. You might find young adults to senior adults fellowshipping and growing together! In many cases the more mature adults provide examples and mentoring for those younger.

Worship Service & Bible Study:  Worship service is at 11:00 am on Sundays and we have a balanced mix of praise music and traditional hymns. The message is Christ-centered and from the Bible. There is a weekly Bible study every Sunday evening at 6:00 pm.

WMU:  Women's Missionary Union includes all ladies in the church. It was organized to support the church and the community, and to spread the gospel to others through missions around the world. They work to help others who need assistance financially and physically. They support the schools, and other organizations by meeting needs both locally and through the mission organizations of the Southern and Texas Baptist Conventions.

Open House:  Open House is a “brunch” and fellowship time that is open to the community from 9-11 a.m. each Wednesday morning, where we share fellowship, food, and a devotional.

VBS:  Each summer, we have a one-week Vacation Bible School ministry for children preschool through sixth grade. For three hours each day,  children from the church and the community are involved in Bible study, recreation, crafts, and music.

Music:  If music is your calling, we invite you to join our choir. On special occasions we also have a handbell choir present special music.
